Healing Wounds

Wesley ‘Wes’ Andrews had kept a secret for years. A relationship that no one knew about, a person he’d loved like no other. When he left without saying goodbye, somehow Wes had managed to pick up the pieces of his shattered heart and put them back together and make something of his life.

Now, that person was coming back to live in Sater’s Creek and Wes felt angry. Angry that after all these years this man felt like he could walk back into Wes’ life and carry on like nothing had happened.

Reece Landon had had enough of city living. Another failed relationship and fed up of being shot at had made Reece revaluate his life and now he was heading home to Sater’s Creek. He needed to be near his family and he had unfinished business.

The day he’d walked away without a backwards glanced still haunted him and he needed to make amends, but doing that was easier said than done.

Wes wanted nothing to do with him and blocked him at every turn. No matter what he said, or did Wes turned him away until one night and one drink led to them had the ever-present passion that simmered between them exploding to the surface.

Could Reece prove to Wes he could be trusted, or had too much time and damage passed for Wes to heal from the hurt Reece had caused?
